No matter how small or big the change is, it usually takes lot of time to study these changes.

Ordinate Measurement in Glovius

Ordinate dimensions are continuous measurements from a reference entity. This style of measurement is typically useful for analyzing manufacturing operations where relative distance between entities is required. For example, if you need to calculate the amount of travel of a tool bit and need to measure the distances between drilled holes in a component, ordinate measurement helps you to quickly figure out the distances between holes and the standard reference entity.

Improved Export to 3D HTML from CAD

We recently launched a Glovius Plus plan that allows your to export CAD parts and assemblies to STEP, IGES and Parasolid formats. We are excited to announce a new  Glovius PLUS plan that enables you to export all your 3D CAD parts and assemblies to STEP, IGES, Parasolid, STL and 3MF formats. STEP files have become the de–facto standard in CAD data exchange use cases. Companies are setting up processes to use 3D files for collaboration and communication with their suppliers and extended teams.

CAD Collision Detection Tools

Glovius has the ability to detect collisions in CAD assemblies. The ability to check for collision in an assembly is mainly useful for three reasons :  Check for integrity of CAD assembly : Check if the various components in the assembly have been assembled properly with no overlaps or intersections . Errors or improper mating of assembly constituents result in a flawed design.
